Established in 1995, ACT Computers has been proudly serving both individuals and businesses in Indian River County. Our journey began in a modest location in South Vero Beach during the days of DOS and Windows 3.11. Recognizing a growing need for reliable computer repair services, founders Jurgen and Klaus Schwanitz set out to provide exceptional service with a commitment to a 24-hour turnaround on repairs.
Thanks to our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, we quickly expanded our original location to 3,000 square feet. In 2010, we moved to our current state-of-the-art facility in the Kmart Plaza on US 1. Today, we operate Florida's largest independent computer store, a 3,500 square foot retail space staffed by 10 full-time technicians.

In addition to our retail and repair services, we offer comprehensive commercial IT services, tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses of all sizes. Job Opportunity: Experienced IT & Computer Repair Technician
ACT Computers, a premier computer repair and IT services company in Vero Beach, Florida, is currently seeking motivated and experienced IT technicians to join our team.
​
**Job Description:**
The successful candidates will have a strong background in Information Technology and Computer Repairs. They will work directly with our customers, providing exceptional service with kindness and patience. Prior customer service experience is a requirement.
Our technicians also provide networking services for businesses and in-home computer service calls, so a valid driver's license is necessary.
​
**Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with Windows 7, 10 and 11, Linux, and Mac OS.
- A working knowledge of Android and iOS is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in Information Technology and Computer Repairs.

**Salary:**
The salary will be commensurate with your experience in the field and your level of education.
